Catarina Kent is a Swedish photographer, designer, and artist with a background in fashion design and textile art. Her artistic journey has evolved from traditional painting and drawing to a deep expression through photography since 2010. Catarina has honed her photographic skills through international workshops in Bhutan, Tanzania, and Cuba, under the guidance of renowned photographers such as Steve McCurry, Marco Di Lauro, Steve Bloom, and Arne Hodalič. Her work has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is currently represented by various galleries.
While Catarina traditionally uses digital techniques to enhance textures and light in her work, making adjustments directly to her original photographs, she has recently begun integrating AI into her creative process.
